Holy Rood House, Thirsk, Yorkshire: Executive director
Holy Rood House, a healing, ecumenical community based on a gentle Christian ethos, is seeking an executive director to start in August 2022. This is an opportunity for an Anglican priest with a strong vocation to lead and manage a committed team of staff and volunteers, live as part of this established community and be alongside its guests as they respond to loss, sorrow and pain by finding new hope.
Recruiters say that ‘the person taking this role will need to be theologically able, progressive in thought and action and pastorally astute, and have a strong empathy with people who are living through times of trauma and transition. They must also have skills in finance and management, and be able to represent the community at national level in the Christian Healing Ministry.’
Holy Rood House is offering a negotiable remuneration package (salary, pension, accommodation) and will consider job-share applicants.
