A remembrance service for care homes

A short video has been produced at the request of St Michael’s Church, Cumnor, Oxford, for older people who are self-shielding, feeling isolated or are presently in care homes at this time of National Remembrance and lock-down.

Author, William Cutting, who has drawn it to our attention, says: 'It reminds us of the cost of peace among nations and peace in our hearts. It comes with our love and the blessings of God.'

The twelve-and-a-half-minute service features well-known hymns such as 'O God, our help in ages past'.

William has written a series of books entitled Face the Future about old age and another focusing on dementia (Onwards and Upwards publishers).
