Three Anna Chaplains were commissioned in Topsham, near Exeter, yesterday (Sunday November 17). The Revd Maggie Stirling-Troy, Elizabeth Reed and Sue Allen were formally sent out as they begin their ministry among older people in the area.

The Revd Louise Grace led a beautiful service, which was a Mission Community Joint Eucharist at St Margaret’s Church. Annie Jefferies, Anna Chaplaincy Coordinator for the Diocese of Exeter and an Anna Chaplain herself , preached on the Luke 2 story of Anna and Simeon and celebratory refreshments were enjoyed after the service.  We wish them all well in their ministry!
