Anna Chaplaincy's Ministry Lead Debbie Ducille attended a thought-provoking webinar on January 30, offered by the Good Faith Partnership in conjunction with the think tank Theos. Good Faith offer consultancy across a range of sectors and agencies, and 16 denominations are engaged in partnership.
Good Faith's new report, is entitled ‘Creating a Neighbourhood Health Service: the role of faith communities in social prescribing’. Social Prescribing is a way of connecting people with activities, groups and services that improve their health and wellbeing.
Also joining the webinar, highlighting their resources and organisations involved was the MP Stephen Timms. You might like to view the webinar recording on YouTube.
This is a key area for Anna Chaplains, their teams and church leadership who may wish to take advantage of such resources for the benefit of their wider communities.
