Well done to Cambridgeshire Anna Chaplain Fiona Pearl, based in the parishes of St. Andrew’s Impington and St. Andrew’s Histon.
She sent us news that more than thirty knitted and felt mini stockings are ready to be filled with chocolates for the Advent care home services in Histon and Impington. Fiona writes:
'I got the idea from a generous donation of knitted goods at the recent Anna Chaplain Gathering, after which I got to work making felt stockings and enlisted the help of knitters in our congregation, with this result!'
'How lovely that an idea which began in and around Cheltenham has spread eastwards. I'm sure they will be much appreciated by residents' said Debbie Thrower, Anna Chaplaincy Pioneer who was also attending the annual Gathering at High Leigh, in Hertfordshire.
