Cake-carrying sponsored walkers

Anna Chaplain Elaine Andrews and Anna Friend Julie Brown have raised an astonishing £553 for Anna Chaplaincy through their recent sponsored event! 

They walked between their church of St Wilfrid’s, Cowplain, in Hampshire, and the three care homes on their patch where they regularly take services. 

They carried cake for the residents to enjoy at each of their stops, returning to church for tea after the mid-week Communion service. 

What a great idea, and one of many fundraising events which have been happening to mark ten years of Anna Chaplaincy as a national movement.  Thank you, Elaine and Julie!
