Freshford near Bath gains two new recruits

Two New Anna Chaplains have been commissioned at St Peter’s, Freshford, south-east of Bath.

Anna Chaplaincy Diocesan Lead Wendy Haslam writes: 'There was great joy at St Peter’s Church, Freshford, in the Diocese of Bath and Wells on Sunday May 31, as two new Anna Chaplains, Rachel Moore and Pat Rawlinson, were commissioned during a special service.

The vicar, the Revd Nigel Rawlinson, is a strong supporter of Anna Chaplaincy, and it is hoped that the number of chaplains serving within the benefice will continue to grow in the months ahead.

The hymns for the service were chosen by Rachel and Pat and following the commissioning the congregation sang the much-loved hymn, ‘Brother, Sister, Let Me Serve You’.
