God in the stony place

Updated: Mar 10, 2021

We know that many people are relying on their BRF Bible reading notes to get them through this pandemic.

I have long appreciated the contributions to New Daylight from Margaret Silf, whose series on 'The four last things; death' have made fascinating reading this past fortnight.

She began the month of March with this reflection on the Genesis story of 'Jacob's ladder' and recollections of its resonance for one elderly woman she knew facing significant challenges in her old age.

You might like to make an Easter gift of a New Daylight subscription to someone – of any age – but especially if they are struggling to cope during lockdown.

Easter is, indeed, not far away now and if you want to browse the BRF Easter cards available to order, you'll find all the details and examples of the range here.
