For those who feel unable to attend Sunday worship, the monthly Anna Café, which meets in the church hall at St James, Emsworth, is their church. It offers a half-hour act of worship, followed by lunch, and for so many people, it is a godsend. |
BRF Ministries highlights how the Anna Café has been running for around 18 months, organised by the curate the Revd Lizzie Davidson and the parish’s five Anna Chaplains and four Anna Friends. You may read a full article about what's happening at the Portsmouth Diocese website here: https://www.portsmouth.anglican.org/news/2026/05/11/anna-cafe-church-godsend-elderly/ And the latest news from Emsworth is that five new Anna Friends were commissioned last Sunday! We welcome them warmly and wish them well in their new ministry. ![]()
