Friend of Anna Chaplaincy, the Revd Gill Sakakini, is leading a workshop on life journaling and there are a few places remaining for anyone interested in joining the group.
It is taking place on Monday and Tuesday, October 6 and 7, in Shepton Mallet and full details may be found here. https://www.gillsakakini.com/life-story-book-workshop.html

The Life Story Book workshop is an opportunity to think creatively about the narrative of one's life and participants will create a special book to carry their individual story.
Anna Chaplaincy Ministry Lead, Debbie Ducille, says: ‘I think this will be a really fantastic workshop, and I’m so grateful to Gill for letting us know about it. I think the course will appeal to some members of our network who are interested in developing this way of working with older people on life stories and to others for whom it already informs their ministry.'
'This workshop may also resonate for those who have taken the Spiritual Care Series, where the power of storytelling and life stories are reflected on as a central theme. I’m very sad not to be able to attend myself!'

Gill is a Pioneer Priest in the Arts for the Church of England and network members who attended the High Leigh Anna Chaplaincy Gathering in November 2023 were treated to a memorable creative workshop with her as we reflected on 'Paying Attention' to God and to others.
