We've been struck by the work of a senior member of a team based in Frinton-on-Sea in Essex. Network member the Revd Sally Bates reports:

'The oldest member of our ‘Welcome Break’ seniors’ team, Mary (90), recently knitted 50 poppies for Remembrance Day.  People gave donations for the Royal British Legion and we raised £150.  Thank you, Mary!'

Anna Chaplaincy Ministry Lead Debbie Ducille, was also pleased to receive this 'short but sweet message for the blog' and adds her congratulations:

‘Anna Chaplains recognise that whatever our age, we all have a need to contribute and to be creative, as well as to belong to a team which brings purpose and hope. Well done, indeed, Mary.'
