The summer holidays have brought a second opportunity for Anna Chaplaincy Coordinator Marian Muskett to pay a visit to the most northerly member of the Anna Chaplaincy Network, the Revd Sue Kirkbride, and her husband Mark, who live on mainland Orkney.

'It was such a joy to catch up with Sue and Mark and hear about what is currently going on in the Kirkwall Peedie Kirk.'

'The church, which is celebrating its 150th anniversary, was preparing for its annual outing when we visited.  We also heard about church members’ involvement in last year’s International Island Games, which was hosted by Orkney.

With teams from 24 islands coming together, lots of volunteers and premises were needed to support the events and the Peedie Kirk was pleased to offer use of its facilities.'
