So successful was the last display of their creative partnership, back in 2024, that former Alton Anna Chaplain Helen Jesty and Anna Friend Becky Shaylor are launching a spring event this year. It's taking place once again at St Paul's Church, St Paul’s Hill, Winchester.

It is a free exhibition on Friday and Saturday March 20 and 21 (from 10am to 5pm) featuring pictures, pottery and words from local people - all carefully curated by Helen and Becky.
It's quite a family affair as on the Saturday afternoon over tea there will be a presentation about the inspiration and context for the exhibition together with music led by Helen's son Tom.
If you'd like to attend the talk and tea please let the organisers know, for catering purposes using this link: https://www.ticketsource.co.uk/helenjesty-beckyshaylor/navigating-life-you-and-me-both-exhibition-tea/e-mjpojy
The artists have undoubtedly drawn on insights gleaned from drawing alongside people over the course of their respective ministries. They also have the gift of encouraging others to discover their own creative potential.
Here are a few tasters of their work. Previous exhibitions have been held in Alton in 2019 as well as Winchester in 2024. This is a productive artistic partnership that has stood the test of time!
The attention to detail at each exhibition - and the generosity of the hospitality - makes these occasions truly memorable. Don't miss out - book your free place and be sure of a warm welcome!
