
A multidisciplinary training day on 'Dementia, Human Value and Healthcare' takes place on
Thursday April 3, 2025, from 9.30am - 4.30pm. The venue is the T3 Conference Centre, House of Vic Ryn, Moira Road, Lisburn, Belfast. BT28 2RF or you may join online.
Pre-booking is essential - to book, please email trainingdirector@nihca.co.uk stating your name, place of work, and role and any dietary requirements. There are limited spaces available. There is an online option available (via YouTube).
Whether in person or online, the cost is £20. All are welcome. Lunch is provided at the venue. Parking is also available.

The speaker: Prof Peter Kevern SFHEA BSc, BD, PhD, PGCertFHE
Peter Kevern is Professor of Values in Health and Social Care at the University of Staffordshire, where his research focuses on the role of religious beliefs, practices and communities in social care.
He became interested in dementia when his mother developed the condition, and it has informed the bulk of his thinking and writing since 2010. His book, Touching God: Dementia and the Three Bodies of Christ is due to be published by Wipf and Stock in October.
