We’re delighted to be staging this FREE EVENT from 10.30 am to 12.30 pm on Monday 19 June (booking closes 16 June at midnight). Anna Chaplains and Anna Friends – as well as others in churches interested in this topic – are invited to take part in a Zoom workshop entitled ‘Sight loss in later life’.
The workshop will be led by a team from Torch Trust. Torch Trust has been supporting people who experience sight loss for over 60 years. It exists so that people who are blind or partially sighted can encounter Jesus, grow in their Christian faith and thrive in Christian community.
This training session will cover some of the main sight loss conditions which affect people in their later years and will give an insight into what it is like to experience visual impairment as one ages. Participants will hear from people who have been on that journey and will have plenty of time to ask questions. Book your free place here.
