Creating sacred space

Writer: Debbie ThrowerDebbie Thrower

Updated: Jun 23, 2021

It isn't easy to carve out a place for worship and stillness in a busy care home setting. But Anna Chaplain Christine Wraight sent us pictures of the sacred space she has created in the care home where she ministers and is also a member of the care staff.

Christine is based at Ashley Baptist Church in New Milton, Hampshire. We applaud all our network members finding innovative ways to offer comfort and succour at these times of intense pressure on residential care facilities, residents and staff.
