Lots more Advent calendars have been made to wish care home residents a thought-provoking Advent and a very Merry Christmas!

Cheltenham and Bishop’s Cleeve – CaBiC –Anna Chaplaincy is arranging for beautiful handmade Advent calendars to be given to as many of the care homes across Cheltenham and Bishop’s Cleeve as possible in time for the start of Advent.

Coordinator Gill Ford says, ‘So far, 25 Advent calendars have been lovingly made (or promised!) by volunteers and will be filled over the coming days with small gifts and suggestions of activities to accompany care home residents on their journey through Advent.’

Here are a few more of those which have already been received.

If you’d like to make some yourself find details here. You might also like to check out this previous blog complete with detailed instructions. And if you do have a go please send us some photos and a few details of who will be receiving them!
