Anna Chaplaincy Lead in Wales, the Revd Sally Rees, has been interviewed by another chaplain, Sarah Chaplin, who heads up Truth Told, bringing 'messages of hope, comfort and inspiration to everyday life.' Sarah has recently published 'a small book' called Truth Told in Covid Times, (Truth Told, 2020) detailing insights for such uncertain times.
Sarah and Sally first met some years ago via a relative at a women's Oasis conference held in St Ives, Cornwall. During the latest 'In conversation with Sally Rees' it was Anna Chaplaincy the pair focused on as well as insights into the Crickhowell-based priest's personal faith. Sally described Anna Chaplaincy as 'a model' of ministry among older people that is a response to the ageing population. She spoke of feeling drawn, herself, to ministry with people in their later years from a very young age. Sally also described the BRF Carer's Guide series which she helped initiate as a way of supporting carers during lockdown and beyond.
