London Diocese published a blog by Julia Burton-Jones our church lead as part of their Lent Appeal. A spokeswoman for Compassionate Communities says it has sparked ‘a lot of engagement’.

Julia concludes her article by saying: ‘Churches and Anna Chaplains are now working with other organisations to offer new activities for people affected by dementia which provide friendship, stimulation and support.’

You can read the blog here.

What can I do?

Please pray for Anna Chaplaincy to grow and expand across the UK so that more older people receive the spiritual care that contributes to well-being in later life.

And she encouraged readers to visit our website for more information – annachaplaincy.org.uk
