Mothers’ Union and Anna Chaplaincy Midlands ‘gathering’

Anna Chaplain Debbie Gurling and Anna Chaplaincy church lead Debbie Ducille were warmly welcomed by members of the Mothers’ Union gathering in Birmingham Diocese on Saturday.

The ‘double act Debbies’ offered a presentation in Sutton Coldfield on both the big picture of Anna Chaplaincy and inspiring stories of the difference this ministry makes in the lives of countless older people.

Mothers’ Union is an ‘engine house’ of activism around the world: ‘We speak the same language of compassion, advocacy and God’s love in action in our communities. It was a pleasure to share vision and ideas with this large, lively group of like-minded women and men from across Church of England Birmingham’, said Debbie Ducille.
