Not even the pandemic puts a stop to Mary's ministry as an Anna Chaplain

Don't miss our profile of Mary Priestley, who has shown extraordinary energy and resolve throughout the pandemic to serve people in her part of Northumberland.

Mary is an Anna Chaplain in Mitford and Hebron near Morpeth. Read her full story featured on the BRF website.

It involves baking on a grand scale, mass knitting of remembrance poppies and all sorts of decorations around her local church to show just how much people who have been isolating are cared about and not forgotten.

Mary, who has been a Home Economics and Social Services tutor, feels the article has captured the essence of her Anna Chaplaincy work during the year, 'as well as the deep faith and care in my heart'.
