Opportunity to be a Chaplain among older people in Wiltshire

May Moore Chaplain at Malmesbury Abbey, Wiltshire



This position would suit a self-supporting ordained individual with a pastoral heart who is seeking a fresh challenge, or a minister moving into retirement. Funded by the May Moore Trust, this role provides an opportunity:

  • to serve in the leadership team of a large Spirit-filled, Bible believing, sacramental church, in a beautiful Wiltshire market town

  • to oversee the team that ministers to the elderly and sick of the parish (population 6,000) and to exercise pastoral care in the community

  • to develop other ministerial areas in the diverse worshipping life of the Malmesbury & Upper Avon Group.

A three-bedroom house or equivalent honorarium, plus relevant expenses are provided for 25 hours per week including Sundays, 46 weeks per annum.
