Do make a date in your diary to watch Songs of Praise this Sunday at 1.15 pm on BBC TV when presenter Revd Kate Bottley explores ‘The Power of the Bible’. bbc.co.uk/programmes/m0013vs5

Rachel Sturt and the Songs of Praise film crew at All Saints Church, Alton

As well as celebrating BRF’s centenary, the team filmed a sequence with Hampshire Anna Chaplain, Revd Rachel Sturt and me (writes Debbie Thrower) in Alton where the chaplaincy for older people started.

They also interviewed Christian speaker and BRF author, Amy Boucher Pye. Keep an eye out, too, for Richard Fisher, BRF’s chief executive, and other familiar faces from BRF’s ministries such as Messy Church and Parenting for Faith.

Don’t forget you can always catch up with the programme later in the week on BBC i-Player.
