A day learning how to offer spiritual care for older people

Updated: Jan 20, 2020

Bristol

By popular demand, I'm returning to Bristol to give more training on supporting older people and their carers. Building on the past ten years’ experience of Anna Chaplaincy for Older People, this is a day for churches wanting to expand their ministry among those in later life. It is in conjunction with Müllers, Bristol.

Dementia

Come and explore in more detail the spiritual and emotional issues facing individuals growing old in the 21st century and see what’s distinctive about the whole spirituality of ageing, especially for those caring for people living with dementia.

Discover ways to really get to know your area in the ‘Get to know your patch’ session, so that you can be more sensitive and responsive to people’s actual needs.

Is Anna Chaplaincy a new role for you?

It may be you are someone exploring whether to become an Anna Chaplain yourself or whether volunteering to be Anna Friend, supporting such work, might just be for you.

You’ll find much to inspire you to get involved and deepen your own spirituality as you age along the way!
