Advent Sunday commissioning

Debbie Ducille

Updated: Jan 8, 2024

Revd Heather Turner was thrilled to be commissioned as an Anna Chaplain on Advent Sunday in her benefice of Shiplake, Dunsden and Harpsden-cum-Bolney in Oxfordshire. She writes: ‘28 years a King's nurse and 33 years in ordained ministry have provided a fertile seedbed of experience. Becoming an Anna Chaplain will enable me to relate to and hopefully enhance the well-being of those in maturity and those with dementia. The congregations of our three churches are very encouraging in supporting my new ministry… many of them my peer group.’
