Attendees at past Anna Chaplaincy Gatherings will recall meeting the Revd Maggie Rich based in Newtown, mid-Wales. Well, her latest project is a book inspired by her cat, Milo. His adventures became a common thread while visiting a certain resident, Joan, with whom she has struck up a friendship.
Milo is a recue cat and came to Anna Chaplain Maggie via the RSPCA. It was thanks to him and the kind inquiries of Joan whom Maggie visits regularly in a local care home that 'Milo's Diary' came to be written and shared!

A launch of the photo-book took place on Saturday in Newtown, at the town's railway station and now copies may be bought direct from the author. If you would like a copy please email Maggie at maggierichsarn@gmail.com Each copy is £5 (to include postage) and all proceeds will go to Anna Chaplaincy. Thank you Maggie!

The diary of Milo's adventures is proving a great resource; opening up conversations about pets we have known and loved (as well as other topics) among the many people Maggie meets in her ministry.

I wonder what Milo makes of Maggie's 'flat people' she showed to us at a Gathering one year - another vivid talking point for residents while she is out and about visiting with her collage companions!
