Alton Anna Chaplaincy held its Christmas event last week. A lovely afternoon for older people which included hand massages, lavender bag making, Advent praying and afternoon tea.

Vicar of Alton, Revd Andrew Micklefield said, 'It was a great idea from our Anna Chaplain Kate Powell and her wonderful Anna Friends. So many people came that extra chairs had to be found in a hurry to accommodate everyone!'

The event was held at Alton Methodist Church. There are now 15 Anna Friends volunteering alongside Kate in the Hampshire town where Anna Chaplaincy began.
