Feeling hopeless? How about a brain boost?

Updated: a day ago

Louise Morse writes of an antidote to the apathy and hopelessness induced for some by the pandemic: ‘Brain and Soul Boosting for Seniors.’

In her latest blog she extols the virtues of small group sessions which for five years have been taking place in churches, in sheltered housing, in care homes, in private homes and in hospitals.

Louise Morse MA (CBT) is media and external relations manager for the Pilgrims’ Friend Society. She is a writer and speaker, and author of books on issues of old age, including dementia, published by Lion Monarch and SPCK. She is a cognitive behavioural therapist, and her Masters’ dissertation examined the effects of caring for a loved one with dementia on close relatives.
