Focus on carers: dementia and the hidden workings of the mind…

Updated: Jul 13, 2023

A top tip from Julia Burton-Jones: ‘A book I found amazingly helpful, published this year and serialised on BBC Radio 4 as “Book of the Week”, is Travellers to Unimaginable Lands: Dementia, carers and the hidden workings of the mind by American psychologist Dasha Kiper' (Profile Books, 2023).

Julia is Anna Chaplaincy’s training and development lead and has worked for a number of dementia charities specialising in adult learning in ageing and dementia.

You can read a review of it on The Guardian website.
