The next best thing to 'shadowing' an Anna Chaplain is to download – FOR FREE – the Anna Chaplaincy Easy Guides written by members of our network.
There's a wealth of knowledge and experience among our Anna Chaplains and month by month we're adding to the library of titles. The two new guides are about 'Forging links with care homes' and 'Enabling worship in care homes.'
They've been written by people with practical experience in the field. Dr Katherine Froggatt is Anna Chaplaincy lead for Cumbria and Lindsay Pelloquin has been building up a team of volunteers taking worship into care homes in the Midlands for Gift of Years Rugby.
These new titles join a compendium of Easy Guides – with salient points distilled to just two sides of A4 – on topics such as: running a 'holiday at home', linking care homes with local schools, running Messy Vintage in community settings and setting up a dementia café.
BRF is making these available free to download to make sure churches and community groups get the easiest access to the best advice and guidance from people who really know what they're talking about and how to do it! Just click on the special tab in the Resources section of our website.
