Some excellent webinars are coming up in the next week or so that might interest our blog readers.
Anna Chaplaincy network member Sally Nevitt will be joining Pilgrims’ Friend Society author Louise Morse to discuss growing a more dementia-inclusive church: on Tuesday 16 January, from 2.30 pm to 4.00 pm. This event is free to attend, but booking is required. Book here
Friends at the charity Christians on Ageing are offering an online conference call on Tuesday 23 January, from 10.30 am to 12 noon. This month’s title is ‘Exploring homefulness in ageing and aged care’ with Sally Mordike. This is also free to attend, and open to anyone interested in issues affecting the lives of older people. To register and receive the Zoom link, please go to the Christians on Ageing website to email.
Late last year, Debbie Ducille attended a short webinar on age-friendly communities offered by the Centre for Ageing Better, and highly recommends it. The webinar is running again on Wednesday 24 January, from 10.00 am to 11.00 am, which you can register for here.
