Ways to be better friends to care homes

Updated: Sep 10, 2020

Fellow member, with Anna Chaplaincy, of the coalition Christians Together Against Loneliness (CTAL), the charity Embracing Age has help for those wanting to see improved support for care homes. CTAL also includes the Salvation Army, Livability, Faith in Later Life, Linking Lives UK, Torch, Parish Nursing Ministries UK and the Pilgrims' Friend Society.

Tina English, founder of Care Home Friends (an Embracing Age initiative), has written an article for Baptist Times detailing some of the ways churches can show show God’s love in practical ways to those who have been on the front line of caring, and to those most vulnerable to Covid-19.

For more ideas of how you can support care homes during the extended lockdown visit the Care Home Friends website.
